- Paper registers typed up the week the report is due
- Different numbers depending on who counted
- Small numbers that could identify someone, sent anyway
- Every funder’s dates mean starting again
Funder reports in a click, not a weekend.
People reached, sessions run and attendance, for any dates. Rounded, safe and ready to send.
Get in touchWhat do funders actually ask for?
Mostly the same handful of numbers: how many people you reached, how many were new, how many sessions you ran, how many times people came, and sometimes a split by month, by area of work or by who they are.
The trouble is rarely the maths. It is that the numbers live in a register, a spreadsheet, an inbox and someone’s memory, and need adding up by hand every time a report is due.
When enquiries, people and attendance are recorded as they happen, the report is a question you ask, for the dates the funder wants, not a project.
Counting by hand vs reports built in
Same funder. Much shorter evening.
- Attendance ticked in on a phone at the door
- One set of records, so one set of numbers
- Every figure rounded to 5, small counts shown as “<5”
- Any dates, by month, pathway and tag, as a spreadsheet
What you’ll actually notice
Reports stop being a project
Pick the dates the funder asked for and download the numbers as a spreadsheet.
The numbers are safe to share
Rounding and “<5” for small counts mean nobody can be picked out of a table.
Attendance is already done
Ticked in at the session from a phone, not typed up from paper later.
Splits without the sums
By month, by pathway, by tag: the breakdowns funders ask for come from the same records.
How it gets set up
We set up your areas of work and tags in your words, so the report splits the way your funders think about your work.
From then on, enquiries, people, cases and attendance are recorded as they happen, and the report reads from them.

Questions about reports
What numbers can we report?
People reached, attendances, events and cases for any dates, split by month, pathway and tag.
Why are the numbers rounded?
So no one can be identified from a small count. Every figure is rounded to 5 and counts under 5 show as “<5”, which is standard practice for sharing data about people.
Can we get it as a spreadsheet?
Yes. Every report downloads as a spreadsheet you can paste into a funder’s form.
Do we have to change how we run sessions?
Only the register. Instead of paper, someone ticks people in from a phone at the door.
Can different funders have different dates?
Yes. Pick any start and end date each time you run a report.
Next report due soon?
Tell us what your funders ask for and we will show you the report with your kind of numbers in it.
